Name:
Hisano, Yori
Gender:
Female
Age:
13
Rank:
Genin
Power: Water Barrier Wall (Suiton Suijinheki)
A barrier made out of water from the surrounding area. This barrier is effective with blocking incoming Ninjutsu techniques and stops them from reaching the user. Unfortunately, it cannot fully stop Taijutsu techniques...but makes it harder on the opponent using the Taijutsu by damaging them a little.
This skill can only be used if water is nearby. Yori rarely uses this main power, instead she prefers to use the Hidden Mist Skill (Kirigakura no Jutsu). Which requires no presence of water nearby and forms a thick mist.

Appearance:
Thick dark red strands of hair fall carelessly against her scalp. The mess of waves only reach to the tip of her shoulders before ending. Unlike her elder sisters, Yori prefers the style to be short. To most the color seems to be unnatural. When amongst the shadows, the shade turns maroon while in the sunlight Yori's hair turns a fiery red. Gratefully, the ruffled mess frames her broad facial features nicely and rarely invades her vision. Yori's bangs are growing out slowly. It is obvious to tell where the bangs are at. The strands on either side of her face only reach three centimeters past her eyes and only have one fine wave to them currently. Her bangs are not yet long enough to have more.
From underneath a mess of a red lies vivid green. Almond in shape, her eyes stare out from transparent white skin. In a way, Yori's eyes are similar to a cat's by the way her eyes seem to glow. It is the contrast between her hair and skin which creates this light. In reality, Yori's eyes are a pale green with dark forest green specks near the center. Thick pitch black eyelashes dull the specks of forest green. This allows the pale green to take a more dominate stand. Often, her eyes have a slight glaze look to them, making her seem half awake at all hours of the day.
Transparent is the only best way to describe her skin. It is not a pale cream color, but a ghostly white which constantly makes Yori look disease stricken. It is rare to see any color on her cheeks, which in the long run is better since that means Yori can be blushing in broad daylight and no one would be able to tell the difference. The downside is that it is easier to tell where her bruises and scars are. There is no way to hide the mistakes on top a clear white canvas. She does however, have freckles lining her tips of her cheeks, circling her eyes, and ending with a mass on top her nose so the canvas isn't completely blank. It reminds Yori strangely of a raccoon, which she has told her twin brother Seiko about, only to be dubbed Shisuta- Raku-n.
A pudgy nose sits stubbornly on Yori's face. No matter how hard she tries Yori is unable to transform it into a cute button shape one. D*** genetics.
[Yori would like to take this moment to blame aneue Jin for hogging all the great genetics given to them by their parents and leaving only the leftovers for the rest of the family. Supashi-bo aneue Jin]
Along with her pudgy nose Yori was given her father's broad chin. Actually the broad chin goes well with Yori's hairstyle. It creates a more mature look about her making Yori seem 14 instead of 13. Pale pink lips are made larger than their actually size due to the pudgy nose and assertive chin. In reality, Yori's lips are a common size and can be usually seen up-wards in a faint smile. There is not much else to say about Yori's facial features besides the fact that she has high cheekbones.
Yori stands at 5'2 in height and is sporting the makings of a young female body. Since Yori has only reached puberty about three months ago, her frame is not as curvy as some other girl's. Her chest seems to be a reasonable size for a thirteen year old, however, her body is still growing and changing. If the other females' bodies in her family state anything than Yori still has quite a way to go. Due to all her training, Yori's muscles are still well defined, however it is easy to tell that they are softening up in appearance thanks to hormones and the like.
Her attire varies with each passing day. Though there are a few accessories Yori is never seen without. A pitch black bracelet, skin tight against her left wrist is always worn along with a silver thumb ring on her left hand. A third item which she wears yet is often overlooked is her small sky blue scarf with grey lettering on it. It hangs from whatever bottoms Yori is wearing at the time and is tied tightly onto the right side. It was a gift from her Otooji Asa (her Ototo's Asa namesake). Seiko received a similar scarf except his has white lettering instead of grey.
Yori's and Seiko's scarfs read: Bo-n yori kiri Born from mist
Personality:
Thirteen years of life have taught Yori many things. One is that strength is the utmost important key to being a full fledge Jounin. From an early age that one value was placed into her. Yori is a determined young lady that puts all her power into each attack. A ruthless silent striker on the battle front, many are reluctant to confront her due to her reputation along with her origins. Village Hidden in the Mist does not have the best record for merciful students.
While power is a huge part of her life, it is not the whole thing. Yori has a tendency to show affection in an alternative way than most. She is very quiet which often lends to people assuming Yori is stand offish. Yori's confidence in herself and her teammates leaks through whether she is talking or not. Because of this misconception, Yori has a difficult time expressing her love. Her eyes are constantly drawn to the boy and when placed in the same room or close proximity to the boy; Yori will engage another in conversation and overplay all her actions. Often times, Yori will become more light hearted and humorous in an attempt to seem more approachable or at least to draw the boy's attention to her.
Hisano Yori is strong, confident, quiet and attention seeking when lovesick, however, there is a downside to her way of living. Due to her strong and silent demeanor not many are willing to break through and befriend her. Yori is often left to her own devices. When in distress Yori refuses to come forth and ask for help. Her family states that Yori is too stubborn for her own good. The dire need for strength counteracts her need for help. She does not enjoy bringing others into her own problems. In the end, Yori will probably die rather than involve others in her own battles.
While she is a good teammate who cares for her family and friends, Yori still has a lot to learn. Perhaps someday she will learn that it is not weak to ask for help. It will be a long hard process though; where she will go down fighting. Failure is not a choice. The two times Yori did fail was enough. The experience of defeat has taught her something. It opened her eyes to what she is capable of. Yori is determined to push that capability to the max. Whether it kills her or not.

History/Biography:
Hisano Yori was born on a cold afternoon only seven minutes before her younger twin brother, Seiko entered the world. Hisano Hoshiko and Suoh were thrilled at the change of events. The two parents were not expecting twins! Hisano Jin and Sachi, their two daughters jumped up and down with excitement. Village Hidden in the Mist just received two new arrivals. Just one year later, another was greeted into the world by the family. The youngest Hisano family member, Asa was born. His namesake being mother's [Hoshiko's] younger brother. The twins uncle who became a missing-nin only nine years later.
Growing up was typical for Yori. While her elder sisters attended training, her and Seiko were expected to began their studies. Asa quickly followed suite and soon her life became a routine. It was only in her ninth year when everything changed. Otooji Asa became a missing-nin. Of course, the Hisano family was first to be questioned about the disappearance and knowledge he possessed. The hunter-nins were furious with their lack of information and searched endlessly for the man. Yori found herself praying for her ottoji's safety despite her loyalty to her village.
Yori's cousins had been a major part of her life ever since she could remember. Ottoji Asa and his family were close to her. Her three cousins were like older brothers and now with Asa gone, well...The stress built up. After Yori's and Seiko's tenth birthday, the Hisano moved. There was of course, a long wait where the family was questioned and sworn to secrecy about the village. It was from that time on that Yori began to wear the scarf which ottoji Asa gave to her.
For two years now, Yori's family has lived in a new village, Konoha. The training the children received from Mist did not leave them. In order to get stronger you must not be afraid to kill the people closest to you. Weakness is not shown and defeat is not taken lightly. It was in Konoha where Yori first learned of what people assumed her home village was like. They dubbed it as the village of the "bloody" mist. Of course, Yori knew of the story and how the final exams were like, but a deep rooted pride was still in her. Their assumptions were just false and ignorant.
